The season premiere gave a look at Cristina in her new hospital, and it definitely means a change for her. She has to adapt to being in a place where they want to work as a team. They're not interested in individuals shining, and that's something Cristina is going to have to get used to. She also is going to have to get used to Dr. Thomas and all his talking, as Dr. Parker told her he wasn't going to steer him in another direction. Parker also gave her some mandatory time off to rest, relax, and explore the area. The majority of the photos from Grey's Anatomy season 9 episode 3 show Cristina at work, while two show her on the phone, possibly checking in with Meredith as neither of them can get on a plane to see one another.
